Kelli Lamb Editor in Chief of Rue Magazine's Bench Makeover
Kelli Lamb is the editor in Chief of one of our favorite design magazines, Rue Magazine. She recently did a makeover of a window bench in her lovely Los Angeles home, swapping out old pillows with a fresh line up of Filling Spaces. See the before and after below.
Kelli Lamb's Bench Makeover: Before
Before the makeover, Kelli had a black and white color palette. While we love black and white, changing color schemes is a great way to freshen up any space.
Here's the other side of Kelli's bench before she switched out pillows. When doing the makeover Kelli told us her color palette and favorite prints from our collections and asked us to select a pillow combination that we felt would be perfect for a light and bright space.
Kelli Lamb's Bench Makeover: After
We chose to send her Koyota Ombre, Misa Mustard, Patang Olive, Mahadevi, Aspen Marine and Stripes Shades of White. Pictured here is Koyota Ombre, Misa Mustard and Patang Olive. One of the things we love about our block printed textiles is that it's very easy to mix and match prints and colors. We know that our textiles will live inside homes for a long time so we chose color palettes for their longevity and patterns that are meant to be subtle enough to mix together and fit into any space.
Pictured here is Mahadevi, Stripes Shades of White, Misa Mustard and Patang Olive. Our pillows emphasize the light and airy feel of this space and bring a totally different feel to the room than the black and white pillows Kelli had before.
Kelli's makeover shows that you really don't have to do much to bring new energy into a space. Just swap out the pillows and throws and all of a sudden your space will feel like new.
